Henry Repeating Arms and Big Woods Bucks have teamed up to make the H14 Long Ranger Big Woods Carbine. Designed for whitetail deer hunting in tight timber, the new H14 carbine builds on Henryโ€™s Long Ranger platform to give serious woods hunters a fast-handling lever-action rifle that can get the job done. The H14 Big Woods Carbine is chambered in .308 Win. / 7.62×51 NATO, has a four-round capacity and comes fitted with a Skinner peep rear sight and a bright fiber-optic front sight. The receiver is drilled and tapped as well if youโ€™d prefer to use a scope. Featuring a barrel length of 18.5 inches and a weight of under 7 pounds, the new H14 carbine should be maneuverable, quick on the shoulder and the perfect companion in thick timber where shot windows are short.

Weatherby Model 307 MZY

Weatherby has just announced the Model 307 MZY, the companyโ€™s first production muzzleloader. The MZY is built on a modified Model 307 action, uses Arrowhead Riflesโ€™ Gen2 ignition system and was designed to offer uncompromising performance for black powder hunters. The Model 307 MZY features a Peak 44 Bastion carbon-fiber stock, a TriggerTech adjustable trigger, a muzzle brake and a lightweight collapsible ram rod. The Weatherby muzzleloader is available in both .45 and .50 caliber, and it can be ordered with either no sights or a factory-installed Williams Gunsight Standard Sight system.
