Warne has just released a new +5 mag extension for Glock 43X/48 factory 15-round steel magazines.
Earlier this year, Glock enhanced its Slimline G43X and G48 pistols when it began selling them with steel 15-round magazines. Previously, these were only available from aftermarket sources, but many Glock users only fully trust mags and parts straight from the Glock factory itself. The increase in capacity from 10 to 15 rounds was substantial, but some shooters may still want more. Now they can with Warne’s new Glock 43X/48 mag extensions.
Warne’s Slimline Glock mag extensions are made from black anodized aluminum and add 5 rounds to any factory steel Glock 43X or 48 magazine, bringing their total capacity from 15 to 20. That’s a lot of rounds for a little pistol. Of course, that means added bulk and reduced concealability as well, but with the right cover garment one could still absolutely carry with Warne’s mag extension installed. Or, it could be your spare mag carried in a pocket or just used for training on the range. The extensions feature a finger groove for easier gripping, and Warne says that the added weight of the aluminum extension will help mags drop free faster and more consistently as well.
