Winchester 1885 Hunter
The rimfire is alive and well. Just ask anybody who is still hunting down ammo. Once you find it, here are four new rifles worth firing some rounds through. Adding to their line of historical rifles, Winchester introduced a Model 1885 Hunter Rimfire single shot. This low-wall rimfire edition is available in .22 LR, .22 Win. Mag. and .17 HMR, as well as the new high-speed 17 Win. Super Mag. The 1885 Hunter Rimfire boasts a checkered walnut pistol grip stock and Schnabel-style forend with an oil finish. These are nice rifles. But I know I can’t afford to pay 1.5k for a .22. Anything over $200.00 is going to be a big purchase for me. You only showed 1 rifle that was even close to affordable for the folks I know.
