Winchester took its successful XPR bolt-action rifle and transformed it into a dedicated long-range gun to create the XPC. Like the XPR, it comes with an oversized three-lug bolt and the excellent MOA adjustable trigger, but in an effort to meet the needs of the ever-growing crowd of long-range shooters, Winchester added a heavy button-rifled, free-floated barrel with 5/8x24 threads and an alloy chassis frame with Cerakote finish and MagPul PRS Gen 3 stock. There’s a 20 MOA scope rail on top and an extended two-piece bolt handle. In addition, there are MLOK attachments on the foreend and buttstock for adding accessories and QD mounts on the buttstock. The rifle comes with a 10-round MagPul P-MAG AICS magazine as well as a five-round MDT metal mag. Available calibers include .308, .243 and 6.5 Creedmoor. ($1,599; WinchesterGuns.com)
