The only known surviving example, this unaltered Springfield 1905-06 is an absolute gem. The .30-03 was originally shipped to the Pratt & Whitney Tool Company as a test rifle and remained in the Tool Company Museum until 1994. It was original sold by the United States government to the Pratt & Whitney Tool Company with authorization by a United States Congress act, approved April 23, 1904. The act allowed and encouraged inventors, firearms companies, and technical innovators to purchase Model 1903 weapons. Estimate: $25,000-$50,000
