Walther continues its reputation for quality with its newest pistol, the Creed. It’s an ideal carry or home defense gun or a great one for the range, thanks to the comfortable, non-slip grip, an ambidextrous magazine release and a Picatinny rail mount. It also includes a pre-cocked, double-action trigger system and a bobbed hammer for a no-snag draw. The Creed is available in two models. One has a 10-round capacity; the other holds 16 rounds. Both options weigh 27 ounces and have a 4-inch barrel. ($399;
