To demonstrate the AR’s dominance in today’s super active gun market, ArmaLite is releasing 11 new AR models in 2014. That’s right, 11 models, including this sweet-looking honey, a 10.3-inch SBR (Short Barrel Rifle). It’s marketed toward law enforcement, but register it with BATFE, get an NFA stamp and you can own one, too. It’s chambered in .223/5.56 NATO and has a chrome-lined barrel with a 1:7-inch twist. Both upper and lower receivers are forged 7075-T6 Aluminum, and it comes with a Tactical Two-Stage trigger, operating on a direct impingement (DI) system. ($N/A,

    • DPMS is garbage. I want the LWRC and possibly the Ruger too. And it’s a GOOD thing the Ruger doesn’t come in camouflage, those camo ARs you can buy look absolutely atrocious. If you want to cammie up your AR, get a couple cans of spray paint and some vegetation, at least that way it won’t look ridiculous.
