Browning 1911-22 Black Label Sub-Compact

Image 2 of 11

Adding to it’s popular 1911-22 line-up, Browning introduced the Black Label sub-compact 1911-22, a palm-sized version of the larger model with a new look. It’s a great gun for plinking or for practicing the use of a compact .45 1911. Cheaper ammo allows shooters to keep their hands on the gun longer without burning through a fortune in ammo. The Black Label comes with a Picatinny accessory rail, an extended ambidextrous thumb safety, a beavertail grip safety, a commander hammer and an extended slide release. It’s a handsome gun, too. The grip is made from black laminated wood and the frame and slide are matte black. The Black Label sub-compact weighs just 13 ounces and has a 3 5/8-inch barrel. The magazine holds 10 rounds of .22 LR. It sells for $639.99.
